The Directorate of Government Examinations, A.P., is a Head of the Department under
the Administrative Control of the School Education Department, Government of Andhra
Pradesh, and is responsible for conduct of various major and minor examinations.
Major Examinations
The Directorate of Government Examinations, A.P., conducts the SSC/OSSC Examinations
& SSC Advanced Supplementary Examinations. About 6.25 Lakh candidates appear for
the SSC Public Examinations every year.
